Pressure Gauges Bottom Entry & Back Entry Type (Liquid-Filled Type) 1/4" Male Connections.

Pressure Gauges Liquid-filled pressure gauges are designed for applications that experience high dynamic shock and vibration loading. These gauges are equipped with a filling liquid that effectively dampens vibrations, reducing the strain on the mechanical components of the pressure gauge.

The choice of filling liquid depends on the operating conditions.

Glycerine-water mixtures are commonly used for most applications and ambient temperatures. They are particularly suitable for low pressure ranges due to their low density, which minimizes resistance on the pressure element. On the other hand, silicone oil is preferred for extremely high or low temperatures (+60 °C and below -20 °C).

The case of the pressure gauge is not fully filled to allow for expansion of the filling medium in response to changes in humidity and ambient temperature. This prevents leakage and ensures sufficient space for expansion. The case is typically filled to 80% – 90% capacity.

The advantages of filling liquids in pressure gauges are manifold. They effectively restrict the pointer's motion under severe vibration loads, ensuring accurate and reliable pressure readings. By dampening pressure peaks, shocks, and vibrations, material fatigue and malfunction are mitigated.

In conclusion, liquid-filled pressure gauges are well-suited for various applications, particularly those involving shock and vibration processes. Their ability to withstand dynamic loading while maintaining readability and accuracy makes them indispensable in such scenarios.
